On Wednesday, November 1st, our robotics team visited Cone Health Hospital to see some of their new robots.
We saw three total robots with the help of some awesome guides.

This was an inside look to a Chemotherapy medicine mixing machine. We were able to talk with pharmacists who worked with this robot on the daily and ask them questions. The robot allows for more precise and less labor intensive medicine creation.

We were then able to take turns working on a robot that creates more precision for surgeons when operating.

Here is a close up view of what was happening when we moved in the simulator. We picked up rubber bands and placed them in various locations. It was created to feel like a videogame which was great for the gamers on the team.

We then saw a robot made for easier X-rays. It was created by Samsung to make x-raying easier by not having to move the patient to get pictures of all angles.
