Our team had a blast volunteering and using our robot to hand out candy while answering questions about FIRST. We had many “Did you guys build that?”, “How can my kids do that too?” and “How did you guys make that, you’re so young!” type questions. Kids were both intrigued and fascinated, and so were their parents!

At first the kids were a bit nervous to approach the robot, once they started associating it with candy it became much less scary. We had them place their buckets under the part of the robot that dispenses.
