Our team set up at a local church in Elon to use our robot to hand out candy to kids. It took a few meetings to get our robot “candy-ready”, but it was worth the work!
We attached a CAD piece that Preston designed using OnShape so that we could grab candy from one end of our robot with our claw, and bring it over to the other side to drop it in candy baskets.

We spent some of our meeting that day creating decorations for the trunk.

We used cardboard, tape, and spray-paint, along with various tools. Our bucket contains the candy to hand out and you can also see Schuy putting our robot inside.
We had a blast interacting with the kids and seeing their shocked faces to see their candy coming from a robot!

There were so many people coming in and out, and a good variety of ages as well!
